Attached is the draft Social Media Specialist service agreement between Uptown Grand Rapids Inc and Dana Jackson for the board’s review and consideration for approval.  The agreement begins on July 1, 2019 and ends on June 30, 2020.  The consultant fees are not to exceed $10,800 and will be shared equally by the Uptown Corridor Improvement Authority (CIA) and Business Improvement District (BID), $5,400 each.


Ms. Jackson will provide the following to Uptown Inc:

·         Provide an average of 4 to 6 unique posts per week on Instagram and Facebook

·         Prepare planning documents to be shared with the Executive Director and Marketing Committee members

·         Create specialized posts and content related to Uptown events

·         Attend events to provide lie and follow up coverage on Instagram and Facebook stories

·         Work approximately 8 to 10 hours per week


The Uptown Inc Board approved this contract at their meeting on May 23, 2019 and recommends it be approved by the Uptown CIA and BID boards.
